Emergency/Crisis

The H Group's Crisis Intervention Services

The H Group provides crisis intervention services 24 hours/7 days a week to children, youth and adults.  Services are primarily provided at The H Group Crisis Center (403 Commerce Drive, Carterville IL), although children/youth and other individuals with specialized needs may be seen at alternate locations.

If you or a loved one are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and have no other medical emergencies (such as a possible drug/alcohol overdose or cuts requiring suturing, for example), you may go directly to The H Group Crisis Center 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  No appointments are necessary.  The H Group Crisis Center is not a medical facility, so anyone with medical needs such as a chronic medical condition or any life-threatening condition should call 911 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Department.  Anyone who has attempted suicide or is in active and immediate danger of attempting suicide should call 911.

For more information about The H Group Crisis Center, see our brochure: THG_Crisis_BrochureFINAL.pdf or call 855-985-0911.  To access crisis services for children or youth (in a non-life threatening condition), please first call the CARES line: 800-345-9049.
